"It is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change." –Charles Darwin

The times they are a-changin’. And never more than in the publishing industry. In fact, because of the lessened need for production and distribution channels for written materials and the long-standing unsuitability of linear (and text!) formats for most information, what was once an industry needs to demonstrate value anew and it’s not clear it can/will.

We’re looking at ways that technology allows the “book” to finally evolve into something more dynamic and configurable to each readers’ needs. We’ll be publishing our own booqs and those of other similarly-minded authors electronically in a variety of formats–experimenting and looking for the best mode and channel. “The illiterates of the 21st Century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” —Alvin Toffler
